Compression Therapy
What is Compression Therapy?
Compression Therapy uses controlled pneumatic pressure to support circulation and fluid movement throughout the full length of the legs.
The boots inflate and deflate in sequence, creating a wave-like compression that helps move blood and fluid through the limbs while you relax in dedicated reclining seats.
At REGEN, we use full-leg compression boots to provide a controlled, comfortable treatment designed to support recovery after exercise and reduce feelings of heavy, tired legs.
2 - Blood Flow is Supported
Venous blood is encouraged upwards.
4 - Circulation Responds
Blood and fluid move more efficiently.
5 - Recovery Processes Begin
Body continues its recovery response.
1 - Pressure is Applied
Compression gently squeezes the legs.
3 - Fluid is Mobilised
Pressure helps move fluid through tissues.
6 - Legs Feel Refreshed
Reduced heaviness supports recovery.
Speed up your recovery.
Technology you can trust.
Our compression therapy uses Normatec by Hyperice, a leading dynamic compression system. Its sequential air compression creates a wave-like pressure through the legs, designed to support circulation and recovery.

Compression Therapy Protocol.
Compression boots are most useful around periods of training, competition or increased activity.
Use them after demanding sessions or when your legs feel tired and heavy, rather than as an everyday treatment.

-
Wear light, fitted clothing such as leggings or shorts. Avoid heavy layers, lotions or oils on your legs.
-
There’s very little preparation needed. Stay hydrated before your session and avoid using the boots immediately after applying oils or lotions.
-
The boots inflate and deflate in sequence, creating a wave of pressure that travels up the legs. You can simply sit back and relax while the programme runs.
-
You’ll feel the boots gently tighten and release around your legs. The pressure is firm but should remain comfortable throughout the session.
-
Yes. You don't need any previous experience. The pressure can be adjusted to your comfort level and recovery needs.
-
They’re particularly useful after strenuous exercise or when your legs feel tired and heavy. They can be used as needed around your training rather than as an everyday treatment.
-
If you have a history of blood clots, vascular problems, are pregnant or have another medical condition, speak to your healthcare professional before using compression boots. If you're unsure, get in touch with us before booking.
-
Let us know if you experience pain, numbness, tingling or unusual discomfort. The pressure can be adjusted, or the session stopped if necessary.
-
Stay hydrated and consider some light movement, such as walking or stretching. Your legs may feel lighter and more relaxed immediately afterwards.
-
There’s no need to use compression boots every day. For most active people, using them after demanding training sessions or during periods of increased activity is a practical approach.
