PEMF Therapy
What is PEMF Therapy?
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy uses gentle electromagnetic pulses to stimulate the body’s cells in order to promote its natural recovery processes.
It is a non-invasive therapy designed to stimulate the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the body’s natural energy molecule, used to fuel cellular repair and tissue regeneration.
At REGEN, we deliver PEMF alongside complementary light therapy, using a full-body light and electromagnetic array or a wearable module for targeted treatment.

-
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. You may need to adjust clothing around the areas being treated.
-
It’s best to remove jewellery and other metal accessories before your session.
-
There’s very little preparation needed. For the light therapy, clean skin is best, so avoid applying lotions, oils or sunscreen beforehand.
-
PEMF is non-invasive and painless. You may notice a mild warmth or tingling, but most people simply lie back and relax. It is normal to hear the frequency of the electromagnets, especially if you’re wearing jewellery or have your ear near the mat.
-
PEMF isn't suitable for everyone. If you have a pacemaker, insulin pump, neurostimulator or other electronic medical implant, are pregnant, or have epilepsy, speak to your healthcare professional before treatment.
-
Some metal implants are fine, but electronic implants can be affected by electromagnetic fields. Let us know about any implants or medical devices when booking so we can advise you.
-
There’s no specific recovery period. You can return to your normal day afterwards, although we recommend listening to your body and taking it easy if you feel you need to
-
This depends on what you're using PEMF for. We can talk you through a suitable frequency when you visit.
